Ade & Enrick Perform for Black History Month at Georgetown University Qatar
A Night of Cultural Celebration in Doha
In celebration of Black History Month and the launch of Dr. Maurice Jackson’s book Rhythms of Resistance and Resilience we were invited to perform as part of this incredible exhibit of creativity and culture.
With the book centering on how Black Washingtonians used music and sports as powerful forces in the fight for equality. We performed iconic songs like “Black and Blue” and “St. James’ Infirmary”.
Connecting with a Captivated Audience
Our performance was met by a captivated audience, as we translated some themes of the Rhythms of Resistance exhibit into a live musical journey.
