The Ade Inubile Trio featuring Ade, Enrick Adam, and Eoin Grace performing live jazz standards at the Katara Jazz Festival in Doha, Qatar

Ade & Enrick | Live at the Katara Jazz Festival

The Katara European Jazz Festival in Doha stands as one of the most significant events on the regional cultural calendar, drawing world-class jazz musicians from across the globe for an immersive four-day celebration. Performing to a vibrant, large-scale crowd in the open-air atmosphere of Katara, Ade & Enrick took the stage as the Ade Inubile Trio, joined by Eoin Grace on Trumpet. Their set featured a sophisticated selection of Great American Songbook classics and jazz standards, including soulful renditions of “The Touch of Your Lips” and the timeless “A Foggy Day.”

A British Jazz Influence: Representing the British Council in Qatar

As a British-born artist, Ade Inubile brought a natural connection to the trio’s curated set, which reflected a sophisticated sense of British Jazz heritage. Representing the British Council in Doha in partnership with EUNIC Global, the performance paid homage to legendary composers like Ray Noble, featuring iconic arrangements of “The Very Thought of You” and “The Touch of Your Lips.” The repertoire also included the evocative “A Foggy Day (In London Town),” further strengthening the cultural link between the UK and Qatar’s vibrant arts scene.

Sharing the stage at the Katara Jazz Festival was a great experience. It was an honor to perform alongside so many incredible bands from across Europe, each bringing their own unique voice to the Doha jazz scene. For Ade, Enrick and Eoin, being part of this diverse musical exchange was the real highlight. We are grateful to the British Council and the festival organisers for the opportunity to contribute our love for jazz to such an inspiring four-day celebration of global music.
